Solo Studio & Rock Era Magazine announce the first Audio recording contest
(Recording Masters):
(15th of January, 2010 – 1st of April, 2010)
Contest description:
Live bands (all music genres) will have to participate with a live recorded song in a period of time (2 months) from publishing this contest, then the results will be ANNOUNCED in three stages and at last a number of professional musicians and composers will be gathered to decide will be the winners; by calculating & comparing their own personal scores.
The contest rules:
- One Original track
- No multi-tracks recorded Audio will be accepted!
- Only songs, No instrumentals!
- Maximum 5 minutes Audio track Length.
- CDs delivered hand to hand. (NO MAILING OR uploading)
- A Band/Song/Lyrics and Lineup DOCUMENT (INCLUDES WITHIN the AUDIO/CD).

Duration:
- Solo Studio & Rock Era will start to receive your song from Friday, 15th of January, 2010
- Deadline for receiving your song is Monday, 15th of March, 2010
- FINAL results will be published in a live ceremony on Thursday, 1st of April, 2010
Jury's pronouncing stages:
Jury will pronounce on three stages for the winner bands and to announce on the FINAL stage which will be the recording Master…
- Stage 1: (Monday, 22nd of March, 2010): The half of the presented CDs will be eliminated
- Stage 2: (Saturday, 27th of March, 2010): Only Five of the presented CDs will remain.
- Stage 3: (Thursday, 1st of April, 2010): The winners will announce in a live celebration.

- Composing
- Harmony/Music and instruments arrangements
- Band members Unique sound's performance and tightness
- Creativity (includes in all of the above)
The Prizes:
- The 1st; A digital AUDIO track record of the band's song.
- The 2nd; 4 credit hours of Recording Jams tracks On Protools.HD.
- The 3rd; 4 credit hours for Rehearsals at the Solo Studio.
