JorZine is Arabian E-Zine to Support Underground Middle Eastren Rock & Metal Scenes, offering bands the opportunity to go international by introducing them professionally through the music industry

It all started on 2006, when a group of friends who shared the same passion for music came together and decided to make history, living in a place where metal is still young, we felt the need to give it the support and publicity it merits. Launching what is now considered to be the leading webzine about Middle Eastern Metal/Rock on the 1st of May 2006, uniting the bands, fans, musicians, and above all, what is now dubbed as “The Middle Eastern Metal Scene”.

Aside from offering you detailed reviews about the latest and best metal releases, JorZine have also conducted interviews with legends such as MotorHead, Chris Caffery, Arch Enemy, with more and more to come.

Over the years JorZine.Com came to be the only reliable source for information about the Middle Eastern Metal/Rock scene, with some of the biggest names in the international music scene quoting and mentioning JorZine on various occasions such as BlabberMouth.Com, Metal Storm Magazine, CNN TV, Auther Mark LeVine, Terrorizer Magazine, as well as others.

JorZine supports every single talent in Jordan & Middle east metal scenes, bands who proved professionalism and dedication to produce high quality music are our major priority, we promote, we provide reviews and interviews and we help your band to reach the world, We work for better metal scene but without the bands help this cant be done.

So the little things we ask in cooperation to make this free promotion a success are mandatory. There is no sense in wasting our time and money and if you as a band don’t wish to succeed, specially that most of JorZine team members are full time employees or students so we are doing this in our free time..

Indeed, there should be some outlines cleared for better understanding between bands, members, and JorZine

1. Band Submission in JorZineOnline.com

We provide dedicated pages for bands on the WebZine, for Jordanian bands (http://www.jorzineonline.com/default.aspx?page=bands ) and for Middle Eastern bands (http://www.jorzineonline.com/default.aspx?page=MidEastBands )
And we give the option for all bands to submit their information, releases and live shows information, however there are some conditions a band should meet in order to be listed in order to filter serious bands and to help raising up the level of our scene, they are as following

• The band should have at least original good quality single or album recorded
• Should Have a history of at least one live performance that included originals played live
• The band should have stable band members for at least a month.

Once the band meets these conditions and get published, there should be regular updates sent to JorZine about the bands activities. (I.e. New promo pictures, modified biography..etc) these info could be sent to bands@jorzine.net

2. On Focus Topics in JorZine.net Forums

We offer bands on focus topics for both Jordanian and Middle eastern bands, these topics are made for bands to have closer interaction with their fans and metal heads all over the middle east, however this could be done as following

• Only admins of forums can create this topic and make it sticky
• Bands who would like to have these topics opened officially should fulfill same band submission rules
• Bands should have JorZine band page
• Band members should be around to answer questions and discuss their music with members of the forums

3. News published in JorZineOnline.com

We have a full dedication to get the bands news and promote them globally to our partners, we contact active bands by internet or in person through our street team and we get their news but that doesn’t mean that Jorzine should knock every door and ask them for news, all the active bands in the Jordanian and middle east scene appreciate this and send us their news and keep JorZine, as well as the local scene, up to date with what's going on with them by them selves we have the email: news@JorZine.net and anyone can share with us and the local scene their news.


4. Events Promotions

JorZine policy for adding the events to main zine, open official topics in forums and send these events by newsletters is:

• We don’t announce and promote any event locally or internationally unless we are a media partners for the event, if we received the news it wont be posted until we contact the organizer about it and see how we can cooperate with him/her
• If we didn’t participate as media partners, the event wont be posted unless the organizer contacted us directly with his/her news to start a discussion on how we can help him/her
